• I wanna love somebody

Things I learned this year: Loyalty, in the end, does pay. When you are satisfied with your life, and have learned that you can live without a prominent signifcant other, it’s easier to appreciate another’s role. There actually are other people that go through the same things you do, write about them eloquently, and offer comfort in their words. You learn who your real friends are on how they react to decisions you make, and how they support decisions with which they don’t agree.

One Responseso far.

Wow, that’s amazing. I’ve finally hit the comfort level in my head, that it’s okay to be on my own, that the people in my life bring me greater gifts with their friendship, and make me happier with their presence.
I want to love someone too, but only when the time is right, and when I’m ready to welcome them in.
